Centrally located down one of Whitby’s famous Yards on the West Cliff side of town, literally a couple of moments walk from the harbour or station. This former fisherman’s cottage was originally our seaside home and was lovingly renovated in 2009. It even appeared in the Yorkshire Post Magazine! It is deceptively spacious and can comfortably sleep 7 people.
On the ground floor is a spacious sitting room with a log burner, flat screen TV, free sat, DVD player, iPod docking station, hifi and free wifi. Through to the well equipped kitchen/diner with dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Down the stairs to the basement there’s a great retreat for children featuring 2 TVs, DVD, Xbox and games.
The 1st floor offers a lovely, large king size bedroom with glorious Abbey views. Along the landing, a further bedroom with a 3’ single and full sized set of bunk beds. The house bathroom can also be found on this floor comprising of a shower over the bath, WC and basin.
Up to the 2nd floor to the master bedroom with a king size bed, opening the electric blind will reveal the most fantastic views of Whitby Abbey and you can do it from bed! The luxury en-suite has a shower, WC and basin. The decked roof terrace can be accessed from this floor and it's the perfect place for breakfast or evening drinks with stunning views of the harbour and station.
